For our client, a global industrial automation and digital transformation technology company delivering advanced manufacturing, networking, and industrial infrastructure solutions, we are currently looking for a Specialist for the position of IT Network Engineer.

The project focuses on delivering technical support services for advanced network and infrastructure solutions used in industrial environments. The Contractor will support customers, field engineers, technicians, and product support teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing network environments. The scope covers Cisco-based networking solutions, virtualization technologies, and industrial communication networks, with support delivered through phone, email, and chat channels.

• Deliver technical support services for customers and field personnel via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related incidents and technical challenges.
• Manage service tickets and document customer issues, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and recommendations.
• Apply Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the knowledge base.
• Support solutions related to industrial automation, controllers, operator interfaces, and network infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices.
• Support VMware-based virtualization environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, technical notes, workaround descriptions, and implementation guidance.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of service requests and technical issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with Network Design and Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Practical experience with Linux environments.
• Practical experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networking technologies.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex network environments.

Nice to have

The cooperation is carried out between independent businesses (B2B model) and covers the performance of services within the agreed project scope. The Contractor independently organizes and manages the manner in which the services are performed, taking into account the project requirements, security obligations, and the necessary communication with the client.

• Around 2 years of experience delivering similar services.
• Experience with IoT technologies.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience designing network architectures.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks, including ControlNet, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting managed Ethernet switches and routers.
• Practical knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 administration (AD, DHCP, DNS, RDP).
• Ability to perform effectively in demanding customer-facing situations.
• Knowledge of an additional European language.
• Availability to provide services within a shift-based schedule, including weekends.
