Project Engineer Building Services / HVAC (m/f/d)

Project overview

An experienced engineering personality is sought for a technical project in the field of plant engineering and building services. The focus is on the technical planning, design, and coordination of HVAC systems, as well as their support through the various project phases – from conception to commissioning and acceptance. The focus is on technical quality, economic efficiency, and energy efficiency.

• Planning, project engineering, and dimensioning of HVAC/building services systems
• Development of economical and energy-efficient system concepts
• Creation and review of calculations, designs, specifications, and planning documents
• Selection and dimensioning of technical components and piping systems
• Coordination with clients, specialist planners, suppliers, and executing companies
• Coordination of adjacent trades, especially electrical engineering and control/building automation
• Support during assembly, commissioning, acceptance, and quality control
• Support with costing, awarding, and monitoring of schedules, costs, and quality
• Creation of technical documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Completed technical degree, ideally in building services engineering, HVAC, energy and building technology, or mechanical engineering
• Professional experience in plant engineering or building services, preferably in the HVAC sector
• Sound knowledge in several areas of heating, sanitary, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration technology
• Experience in system planning, technical design, and project coordination
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, especially DIN/EN, VDI, and DVGW
• Confident use of MS Office and experience with CAD systems, e.g., AutoCAD or Trimble Nova
• Structured, self-reliant way of working and strong technical and economic understanding
• Strong communication skills and a pronounced awareness of costs, deadlines, and quality
• Experience in construction management, assembly supervision, or commissioning
• Knowledge in BIM, building automation/control systems, and calculation and simulation software
• Knowledge of VOB, HOAI, and project management systems
• Expertise in heat pumps, renewable energy technology, and energy efficiency
• Driving license class B and willingness for occasional site and customer visits
