Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a "Project Manager Power Supply / Medium Voltage & Switchgear Technology" (m/f/d) to provide the following services:

Responsibilities

• Independent management and complete execution of projects in the field of medium voltage and switchgear technology up to successful customer handover
• Control and coordination of all project participants, including internal specialist departments, subcontractors, and external service providers
• Responsibility for adherence to cost, quality, and deadline specifications within the projects
• Planning and execution of all work preparation measures for project implementation
• Ongoing monitoring and optimization of project processes regarding cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and quality standards
• Direct contact person for customers throughout the entire project duration
• Independent processing and management of special and expansion projects
• Coordination with management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and action requirements
• Support in developing technical solution approaches for customer-specific requirements
• Participation in bid evaluations, calculations, and technical concepts

Requirements

Must-have: Project Management, Medium Voltage Technology, Switchgear, Transformers, Power Supply, Technical Project Management, Cost and Schedule Control.

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in electrical engineering, for example as a master craftsman, technician, or engineer
• Several years of experience in the independent management and implementation of projects in the field of power supply, medium voltage, and switchgear technology
• Very good technical know-how in the field of medium-voltage systems, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and electrical distribution systems
• Sound knowledge in the planning, erection, and commissioning of primary substations, own-use systems, or comparable power supply systems
• Experience in managing complex projects regarding costs, quality, deadlines, and resources
• Knowledge in technical costing, bid processing, and economic project evaluation
• Good business management knowledge and understanding of decentralized supply systems
• Ability to develop and evaluate technical system solutions
• Strong analytical and structured working method, as well as entrepreneurial thinking
• High communication skills in dealing with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• High flexibility and willingness to coordinate various project participants and trades
• Confident demeanor and experience in direct customer support and coordination at management level
