Project Manager Aerospace Engineering

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for Aerospace Engineering at our Bremen location. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, control, and monitoring of large technical projects in the aerospace industry.

Your tasks include the integration and analysis of time, cost, resource, and quality data using common project management tools. You will carry out program and project planning, use breakdown structures for scheduling, and implement risk and opportunity management processes. Monitoring project performance, including milestone tracking and reporting, is among your core responsibilities.

Furthermore, you will manage contract data, configuration controls, and change management in company-wide systems. You will optimize project-related management processes and implement modern collaboration tools. Organizing phase reviews and following up on resulting actions are further important tasks. Close coordination with interdisciplinary teams in the engineering field completes your profile.

You have a completed degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration. Several years of practical experience in project management of large technical projects, ideally in the aerospace industry, is required. Sound knowledge of process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma, as well as risk management according to ISO 31000, is assumed. You have very good MS Office skills and experience with change management processes. Fluent German and English language skills are necessary.
