Project Manager The Homegivers

Project overview

As project manager, you will lead the 'De Thuisgevers' project office and be responsible for the following tasks:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing the project office and the multidisciplinary team of quartermasters, pioneers, and advisors
• Acting as the official point of contact for the national government within the project
• Preparing progress reports for the steering committee and national working group
• Guiding the execution of local projects in collaboration with municipalities and social organizations
• Contributing to strategic space utilization and new initiatives
• Stimulating collaboration between municipal governments, partners, and volunteers
• Resolving organizational and administrative bottlenecks
• Fostering local support through inspiring communication
• Contributing to a future-proof governance structure
• Managing contacts with stakeholders at local, provincial, and national levels
• Experience with the approach to displaced persons, status holders, and urgent seekers
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a project manager within a municipality in the last 7 years
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience with the local approach to displaced persons or refugees in the last 5 years
• Demonstrable work experience with 'De Thuisgevers'
• HBO Bachelor work and thinking level, WO Bachelor is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of administrative processes within local, provincial, and national government
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
