Proximity IT Support Technician

Project overview

On a mission as an IT Support Technician within a large banking group, you will join one of the IT Bars to assist users with their requests and incidents, making their satisfaction your number 1 priority.

Context:

The fleet consists of approximately 1500 workstations, mostly laptops. This fleet primarily runs on Windows 10. Around this environment, several solutions (tools) are used:

• Handle incoming calls
• Process incidents and requests for workstations, mobile telephony, printing solutions, etc.
• Handle daily moves
• Update inventories in our asset management tools
• Integrate workstations, install software for our users
• Manage stock
• Keep our procedures, documentation, and knowledge bases up to date.
• Minimum 4 years of experience (apprenticeship possible).
• Experience in direct proximity support with the user, not just helpdesk (remote support).
• Windows 10 OS
• Tools that make up the office suite (Office 2010, 2013, 365)
• Workstation security solutions (antivirus, disk encryption, removable media management, ...)
• Messaging environment (Exchange servers, Outlook Client, KVS archiving tool)
• Mobility solutions (3G/4G key, Citrix client, VPN client)
• SCCM 2012 tool, used for remote control and application installation
• Printer and copier installation and configuration tools (Infoblox, AD)
• Smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android)
• SCCM, which covers remote deployment, inventory, and remote control functionalities
• McAfee, which covers all workstation security (antivirus, encryption, removable media management, ...)
• This application base is complemented by the classic and common tools for any large company (Office suite, JAVA machine, PDF reader, Citrix client...)
