PV System Planner / 3D Module Planning & CAD

Project overview

We are looking for a PV system planner to support our technical development of modern photovoltaic solutions. In this versatile position, you will combine technical understanding, spatial imagination, and careful CAD and PV planning.

Your tasks include the independent planning of photovoltaic systems from roof area analysis to the complete handover of planning documents. You will create precise 3D representations, plan the optimal use of roof areas, and assess solar radiation, shading, and the expected energy yield. You will perform quantity surveys, create detailed material lists, and forecast PV yield and self-consumption. You will roughly calculate material requirements, installation effort, and labor costs, and check your plans for technical plausibility and practical feasibility.

We are looking for candidates with up to three years of professional experience who want to deepen their knowledge in the areas of photovoltaics, CAD, and technical building planning. Your meticulous work ethic, your willingness to familiarize yourself with specific planning software, and your understanding of technical contexts are crucial. You should be able to capture information from building and roof plans in a structured manner, assess relevant areas, and develop reliable planning documents from them.

Knowledge of heating load calculation is particularly valuable, as photovoltaic systems are often considered in conjunction with heat pumps and other building services systems. Training or a degree in a technical, electrical engineering, or energy technology field is advantageous. Your structured way of working and communication skills are essential, as your plans form the basis for subsequent calculations, orders, and practical implementation.
