Project overview
Our client are a global consultancy that are looking for an AI Engineer to join one of their clients in the insurance space on a Full time contract (8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Key Skills:
- AI/ML and LLM Engineering: Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with machine learning, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), document processing, information extraction, classification, and agent-based architectures to build intelligent automation solutions.
- Software Engineering and AI Solution Delivery: Expertise in developing and deploying scalable, production-grade AI applications using Python, TypeScript, CI/CD, and containerisation, with experience in AI evaluation frameworks, performance monitoring, hallucination detection, and end-to-end product lifecycle management. Knowledge of vector databases, multi-agent orchestration, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Business Analysis, Stakeholder Management and Technical Leadership: Ability to identify AI automation opportunities, translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, and collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and global teams.
Project details
- This position will be paying up to £675 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
- 2-3 days per week onsite in Central London
- This contract is until March 2027 initially with high likelihood of extension
- Must have right to work in the UK without needing sponsorship
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 Months+
- Location: London, UK, GB
- Rate: 84-84 EUR/h
