• Develop, refactor, test, and support production Python code for data processing, integrations, and automation.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reconciliation, reporting, and data validation.
• Investigate financial and transactional discrepancies, including unmatched records, duplicates, missing data, and timing differences.
• Migrate existing Python jobs and manual workflows to a production orchestration platform.
• Implement scheduling, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retries.
• Support period-end close, audit requests, and resolution of data discrepancies.
• Document code, data mappings, reconciliation rules, and operational procedures.
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering, data engineering, or automation experience.
• Strong hands-on Python experience building and supporting production solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and aggregations.
• Experience with Snowflake or a comparable data platform.
• Experience reconciling financial or transactional data across multiple systems.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Excel proficiency for data validation and operational analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
