What we offer you

• You anchor test-relevant information early in the exploration phase and clarify test data, test environments, and test configurations for selected requirements such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
• You identify suitable test cases for automation based on manual test cases and functional requirements and develop automated UI and service tests using Robot Framework, Thunder Client, Playwright, or comparable tools.
• You provide test data of the required quality across various environments and build up program-level, cross-team test data management, including provision, maintenance, anonymization, reusability, and versioning.
• You plan and control cross-functional test activities for complex strategic topics along the test pyramid and ensure tracking and reporting, taking defined standards into account.
• You identify the need for cross-functional test activities, coordinate with stakeholders, recognize risks, and derive measures for risk minimization.
• You ensure test activities at the lower levels of the test pyramid, especially unit, CDC, and interface tests, assess test coverage, and provide recommendations for action to the teams.
• You advise stakeholders on test-appropriate preparation and documentation of results, as well as the testability of requirements.
• You continuously optimize test-relevant processes and implement improvement measures at relevant interfaces.
• You support the further development of web applications for timetable construction in a SAFe-organized environment with multiple product teams and close collaboration across team boundaries.
• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Required:
• Several years of experience in conducting test activities at all levels of the test pyramid, especially unit tests, CDCs, API tests, and UI tests.
• Basic programming skills, preferably in JavaScript and Python.
• Several years of experience in test automation, ideally with Robot Framework.
• Experience in the development and testing of APIs based on REST and OpenAPI, preferably with Thunder Client or comparable tools.
• Several years of experience in test and/or project coordination.
• Sound experience in test data management across multiple environments, including provision, maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Independent, structured, and quality-oriented way of working, as well as assertiveness, flexibility, analytical thinking, and strong teamwork skills.
• Desired:
• Initial experience with SAFe.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Argo CD.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as in creating and managing test data-related data sets.
• Experience with test management and reporting tools such as Jira and Xray, as well as with workflow and process engines like Camunda.
• Basic knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or comparable qualification.
• Interest in complex business processes.
• Good German language skills, spoken and written (min. C1).
