• You ensure the implementation of central QA guidelines.
• You plan, conceptualize, and implement test activities, test scenarios, and load tests for short and medium-term periods.
• You coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders on requirements and deliverables.
• You support the creation and provision of test data for conducting tests.
• You analyze requirements and derive test cases from them.
• You document test results, deviations, and other relevant test aspects and derive release recommendations from them.
• You monitor, evaluate, and analyze test results for the further development and optimization of tests.
• You continuously optimize and update tests with regard to coverage, quality assurance, and performance.
• You participate in test automation and derive functional scenarios for its implementation.
• You develop and optimize test automation solutions for integration into CI/CD pipelines, using suitable current automation frameworks and tools.
• You create and execute test scenarios and test cases based on test case design methods.
• You perform manual tests as well as cross-channel test scenarios from a customer perspective and document them.
• You support and advise other teams in evaluating results and improving test processes.
• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Engineering, or comparable knowledge.
• Several years of demonstrable experience in creating functional test cases.
• Certification according to ISTQB Foundation Level or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in the environment of large projects.
• Experience in the cloud and microservice environment.
• Several years of proven experience in agile projects.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Several years of experience in testing along the test pyramid.
• A solution-oriented, independent, and analytical way of working, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and assertiveness skills.
• Ability to integrate into existing teams and project structures, as well as teamwork skills.
• A cooperative working style and consulting competence.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Sound knowledge of the software development process, ideally according to Scrum or SAFe.
• Knowledge and experience in using JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of using GitLab.
• Experience with Robot Framework, Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservices, Backend, and API testing.
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
• A responsible role in quality assurance with a lot of scope for development in the further development of test processes and test automation.
