QA Engineer (Manual & Functional Testing)

Responsibilities

• Analyze BRDs, PRDs, and user stories to understand business workflows
• Conduct regression, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Validate UI, workflows, calculations, and data consistency
• Identify edge cases and negative scenarios
• Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman/Swagger
• Verify request/response structure and business validations
• Test authentication and authorization flows
• Perform integration testing across microservices
• Write SQL queries to validate backend data
• Validate data integrity and transaction consistency
• Participate in sprint grooming and requirement discussions
• Perform release validation and smoke testing
