Context:

As part of strengthening an IT team specializing in trading systems and financial market platforms, we are looking for an experienced QA Engineer technico-functional to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of critical applications.

You will be involved in functional and technical testing activities, with a strong emphasis on Backend/API Testing, automation, and release validation. You will contribute to defining test strategies, risk coverage, and continuous improvement of QA practices.

Within an international environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, technical managers, and project managers. You will also play a QA referent role for junior profiles, particularly in adopting best practices and mastering the use of artificial intelligence tools.

Main Missions:

Technical Environment:

• Test strategy: define and execute standalone test strategies, objectives, scopes, acceptance criteria, and coverage levels according to business risks and stakes.
• Backend/API Testing: design and execute manual and automated tests, prepare data sets, perform database validations, and verify functional behaviors.
• Defect management and reporting: reproduce, analyze, document, and track defects, control fixes, prepare release validations, and communicate on risks, coverage, and results.
• Automation and tooling: develop and improve automation frameworks using Python, Linux, Git, Jenkins, BDD, and Xray/Jira; leverage AI tools to assist in test design, defect analysis, scripting, and documentation, with systematic validation of results.
• QA Leadership and continuous improvement: coordinate testing activities with technical and functional teams, support junior QAs, and strengthen quality, traceability, and automation standards.
• Tests & Quality Assurance: Backend Testing, API Testing, Standalone Testing, functional tests, manual and automated tests, GUI tests
• Automation & scripting: Python, Test Automation, Selenium, Playwright (appreciated)
• CI/CD & versioning: Jenkins Pipelines, Git, continuous integration
• Systems & databases: Linux, database management, test data preparation, data validation
• QA Methods & tools: BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), Xray, Jira, defect management, traceability, risk-based testing
• Architecture & integration: Backend, API, Kafka (appreciated)
• AI applied to QA: AI Tools, test case generation, automation, defect analysis, scripting, and documentation
