Quality Manager

Framework conditions

• Central point of contact for all overarching quality management, quality assurance, and quality control (QM/QS/QC) topics within the sub-project, as well as towards sub-project managers and the overall project management
• Ensuring compliance with and continuous review of relevant quality requirements and regulations within the QM system
• Communication and escalation of quality-related issues, as well as regular reporting to management
• Support and guidance for internal and external audits, as well as conducting quality visits in production, warehousing, and on construction sites
• Organization and moderation of lessons learned sessions, as well as quality assessments and non-conformities, including documentation and follow-up of actions
• Ensuring the consistent application of quality processes, particularly deviation management and the processing of quality deviations
• Monitoring the implementation of relevant quality specifications and processes, such as inspection and test plans, factory acceptance tests, quality checkpoints, and production releases
• Ensuring compliance with overarching quality standards regarding reporting, key figures, role descriptions, and documentation structures
• Completed technical degree (Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Infrastructure) or comparable education with QM experience
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in quality management, ideally in civil engineering and pipeline construction or in infrastructure projects
• Sound knowledge of QM systems (ISO 9001), audit methodology, and in the creation and review of QMP, ITP, and inspection plans
• Knowledge of relevant standards, construction methods, and testing and measurement technology
• Experience in complaint management using the 8D method and in managing service providers
• Analytical, structured way of working, as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Teamwork ability, resilience, even in dynamic project phases
• Start date: December 2026 / January 2027 for one year, with the option to extend
• Scope of work: 40 hours/week
• Work locations: Würzburg and along the route in Thuringia/Bavaria or Bavaria/Baden-Württemberg (60%), remote (40%)
