Job description
Experienced Quality and Risk Manager needed for a public sector client to independently assess project status, quality, and risks, providing recommendations and reporting to stakeholders.
Project overview
For one of our clients in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Quality and Risk Manager.
Activities:
- Independent assessment of project status, goal achievement, and project quality
- Evaluation of project organization, project leadership, and project management
- Identification, analysis, and evaluation of project risks
- Development of concrete recommendations for risk minimization and quality assurance
- Review of project progress, results, and status reports
- Conducting quality and risk assessments
- Advising the client on important project decisions and milestones
- Neutral and transparent reporting to relevant stakeholders

- Several years of experience as a Quality and Risk Manager in complex IT projects
- Experience in the independent assessment of project management, project organization, and project management
- Demonstrable experience in risk management and in assessing project quality
- Experience with architectural, governance, and quality issues in demanding IT projects
- Ability to develop management-level recommendations and decision-making bases
- Very good German skills (at least C1 or native speaker)
- Good French skills (at least B2)
- Good English skills (at least B2)
- Experience in large transformation or modernization projects
- Experience in complex stakeholder and supplier environments
- Knowledge of HERMES or comparable project management methods
- Experience in the public sector
- Knowledge of modern application modernization and migration projects
