Our client is undergoing a transition towards more AI-accelerated system development and management, where AI will be used throughout the development process to increase speed and efficiency while maintaining high quality. Test and quality assurance are a central part of this journey.

We are now looking for a senior Quality Engineering & AI Test Lead with two closely linked focus areas:

The role does not involve personnel responsibility but is based on expert leadership, coordination, and the ability to create progress across team and organizational boundaries.

Meritorious Experience

• AI-accelerated system development – act as an expert in testing and quality assurance, support pilot teams hands-on, and contribute to developing and scaling AI-supported ways of working.
• Test & Quality Engineering – take a cohesive and coordinating responsibility for the test area, create structure and direction, and drive prioritized improvements.
• Identify and translate opportunities with AI in testing and quality assurance into concrete ways of working.
• Support pilot teams hands-on with experiments, problem-solving, and implementation.
• Develop ways of working in areas such as test automation, test data, test environments, and quality analysis.
• Capture learnings from pilots and contribute to common, scalable ways of working and playbooks.
• Create a clear picture of the current situation, needs, and prioritized development areas within test and Quality Engineering.
• Clarify what needs to be coordinated centrally and what should be owned by the respective development or delivery team.
• Develop collaboration between test specialists and other relevant competencies.
• Act as a bridge between the test area, AI initiatives, and other parts of the organization.
• Senior experience in Quality Engineering, test strategy, and quality assurance in large and complex IT environments.
• Deep understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how quality is built into the development process.
• Practical experience with AI/Generative AI in software testing and Quality Engineering.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern development environments.
• Experience in developing or transforming test and QA ways of working across multiple teams and organizations.
• Ability to combine a strategic perspective with operational and hands-on work.
• Documented experience in leading through expertise and influence without formal authority.
• Is pragmatic, solution-oriented, and drives issues forward.
• Can create structure in complex contexts without creating unnecessary administration.
• Has high credibility with both technical specialists and management.
• Challenges existing ways of working in a constructive manner.
• Is communicative, inclusive, and skilled at creating consensus between different competencies and teams.
• Experience with coding or scripting.
• Experience from large enterprise and integration environments.
• Experience in establishing or leading communities of practice within Quality Engineering.
