Quality Management System Designer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Management System Designer for a repair station in the aerospace sector. In this role, you will act as Component Certifying Staff Part 145 and contribute significantly to the safeguarding and optimization of our quality management systems.

Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with QMS specifications and regulatory requirements, as well as analyzing and optimizing existing processes. You will create and maintain QM documentation, guidelines, and work instructions, and advise specialist departments on the application of the quality management system. Furthermore, you will conduct training measures, participate in internal and external audits, and guide technical inspectors. Another focus is on reviewing technical data and issuing airworthiness directives.

For this position, you should have a degree in engineering or technology, ideally with a focus on aerospace engineering, or a technician/business administrator degree. You have several years of professional experience in aerospace, quality management, or quality assurance. Practical experience with technical documentation, material testing, and technical reporting is required. In-depth application knowledge of SAP for quality processes, as well as very good German and English skills at a negotiation level, are necessary. Experience with regulatory requirements such as EASA Part 145 is desirable.

The workplace is located in Bremen and is designed as hybrid. You will work in an international environment and actively contribute to system integration.
