Sauerstoffwerk Friedrichshafen GmbH is a leading supplier of industrial gases, providing high-purity gases and custom gas mixtures to numerous industries and medical facilities. The main plant in Friedrichshafen has been a significant partner for companies in the region, the DACH region, and France for decades.

We are looking for a full-time, fixed-term Team Lead Laboratory (m/f/d) for the Friedrichshafen and Aitrach locations.

Responsibilities

You will ensure that our products meet the required quality standards.

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of laboratory personnel
• Contact person for the Head of Quality and their deputy
• Conducting analytical investigations of medical, technical, and food gases
• Calibrating and validating analytical instruments
• Optimizing analysis methods
• Filling test and special gases in the laboratory filling system
• Performing and documenting quality controls and other laboratory activities professionally and on time
• Monitoring test deadlines for the operational laboratory
• Creating and updating work instructions, operating instructions, and risk assessments
• Collaboration and communication with the entire Quality department, operations, and sales
• On-site sampling at our customers' or other company locations

• Completed technical or scientific training or studies related to laboratory analytics, quality management, chemistry, physics, process engineering, or comparable degrees
• Practical professional experience in a laboratory environment is desirable
• Basic knowledge of chemistry or physics is desirable
• Analytical thinking, technical understanding, and interest in quality
• Initial leadership experience and a hands-on mentality
• High self-motivation, reliability, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Driver's license class B
