Job description

Seeking a Quartermaster for Organization Development & Circular Economy to develop a future-proof public organization supporting municipalities in waste management, resource policy, and the circular economy. The role requires strong organizational development skills and political-administrative sensitivity.

Project overview

Organization

You work for a compact public steering and knowledge organization in Midden-Nederland. This joint arrangement supports participating municipalities in sustainable and cost-effective waste disposal and processing. The organization concludes processing contracts with market parties and public companies and organizes the transshipment and transport to recycling companies and final processors.

With regional collaboration partners, the organization shares and develops knowledge and strengthens the procurement and management of processing contracts. It also works on innovative solutions for the preservation and reuse of raw materials. The next development phase must connect reliable and efficient execution of existing tasks with a greater role in regional cooperation and the transition to a circular economy.

Quartermaster Organization Development & Circular Economy

As Quartermaster Organization Development & Circular Economy, you will further develop the organization on behalf of the board. You will work on a compact, authoritative public organization that offers added value to the participating municipalities. You are responsible for strategic organization development and ensure that the direction aligns with their administrative wishes.

You will develop a future vision, explore new core tasks, and organize the collaboration and capacity that the new organization needs. You will strengthen the organization's position as a regional collaboration partner in the field of circularity and resource policy. You will take into account municipalities that are considering outsourcing their existing tasks.

On September 1, 2027, you will present the further elaborated future vision to the organization. After the decision by the General Board, implementation will be worked on during any extensions.
