Recruiter / Sourcer for Commercial Skilled Workers / Blue Collar

Contract Model: Freelancing or temporary employment

Responsibilities

• Direct approach of commercial skilled workers such as electricians, mechatronics technicians, industrial mechanics, welders, and production and warehouse staff, etc., via telephone, WhatsApp, social media, and job boards
• Research in CV databases and networks such as Bundesagentur für Arbeit, StepStone, Indeed, XING, and LinkedIn
• Telephone pre-qualification regarding qualifications, shift willingness, driver's license, commuting willingness, salary expectations, and availability
• Building and maintaining a candidate pool for recurring needs
• Preparation of candidate profiles and coordination of interviews with recruiting and the specialist department
• Formulation of target group-specific job advertisements
• Support with on-site recruiting events such as job fairs, open house days, and collaborations with vocational schools and the employment agency
• Management of employee referral programs
• Maintenance of applicant and sourcing data in the ATS and reporting of relevant key figures (approaches, response rate, hires)

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in active sourcing or recruiting
• Experience with commercial or blue-collar target groups such as production, technical, logistics, or crafts
• Very good telephone communication skills
• No problem with cold calling and high telephone frequency
• Confident use of job boards and CV databases such as BA-Jobbörse, StepStone, and Indeed
• Experience with social media recruiting via Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp
• Fluent German language skills

Background of the task:

For our client in the electronics sector, we are looking for a Recruiter / Sourcer for commercial skilled workers / blue collar. The project includes recruiting approx. 150 employees within the next 12 months across 5-10 different job profiles. Support is sought in active sourcing, telephone pre-qualification, and building a sustainable talent pipeline for commercial skilled workers.
