Job description
Work on the Red Hat OpenShift platform within KPN data centers, contributing to building, expanding, and improving the platform, managing and further developing OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Virtualization, and automating, standardizing, and securing the platform.
Project overview
As part of the Containerization & Virtualization team, you will work on the Red Hat OpenShift platform within the KPN data centers.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Contribute to building, expansion, and improvement projects of the OpenShift/Kubernetes platform
- Manage and further develop OpenShift Container Platform and OpenShift Virtualization
- Contribute to automation, standardization, and security of the platform
- Solve technical problems and look for structural improvements
- Document and share knowledge with team members
- Switch between management, engineering, and project activities
- Demonstrable experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of GitOps principles and Argo CD
- Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code
- Skill in building, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex platform environments
- Knowledge of OpenShift Virtualization, Kargo, Prometheus, or Grafana is a plus
- Affinity with CI/CD and automated deployment processes is a plus
- Knowledge of network, storage, and security concepts within Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus
- Team player with independent analytical ability
