Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced technical SAP consultant to support the person responsible for portfolio management, enterprise architecture, test management, and cutover management.

The role combines in-depth SAP understanding with very good consulting, structuring, and communication skills. You will take ownership of topics, coordinate content with the respective responsible parties, and prepare complex issues for management.

This role is not a classic administrative project assistant. We are looking for an experienced technical consultant who understands content, drives topics independently, and communicates them in a management-ready manner in close coordination with the responsible parties.

• Technical and content support for the project lead
• Support for portfolio management in structuring, prioritizing, and tracking relevant topics
• Support for enterprise architects in preparing technical questions and decision requirements
• Support for test management and cutover management on SAP-specific technical topics
• Independent assumption, structuring, and processing of defined work packages
• Coordination and tracking of functional and technical alignments
• Consolidation of information from various sub-projects and stakeholder groups
• Identification of dependencies, risks, open points, and action needs
• Content coordination of management documents with responsible contacts
• Creation of management-ready presentations, decision proposals, and status documents
• Translation of complex SAP issues into clear, understandable, and visually compelling representations
• Preparation and support of management meetings, workshops, and decision rounds
• Several years of experience in complex SAP projects
• Very good overarching SAP know-how
• Technical understanding of SAP architectures, integrations, system dependencies, and implementation processes
• Experience collaborating with project management, enterprise architecture, test management, or cutover management
• Ability to quickly grasp, structure, and independently process complex issues
• Very high level of independence, commitment, and solution orientation
• Experience in creating management-ready presentations and decision proposals
• Very good PowerPoint skills and strong abilities in visually preparing complex content
• Ability to coordinate content with various stakeholders and present it concisely
• Confident demeanor towards project management, management, and technical experts
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German language skills
• Experience in large SAP transformation, migration, or rollout programs
• Experience in portfolio management or in a technically oriented PMO function
• Knowledge in the areas of test management and cutover management
• Experience with architecture and decision-making processes in complex organizations
• Experience with SAP Maintenance or SAP PM or SAP EAM
