We are currently looking for a Software Tester/Test Analyst (m/f/d) ISTQB CTFL

Responsibilities

In Test Design:

In Test Execution:

• Analysis of relevant documents (e.g., functional concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, features/user stories in Jira, etc.) and derivation of test designs
• Creation of test scenarios and test cases based on existing requirements (e.g., functional concepts, backlogs, IT concepts, etc.)
• Identification and procurement/generation of test data based on the functional concept
• Advising the client on test design
• Ensuring the quality of test execution / performing tests
• Testing of software provided by development for functional and non-functional requirements
• End-to-end tests of developed test cases and recording/documentation of defects
• Written documentation of all test results and all malfunctions in a test report
• Advising on the strategy for correcting the software/application, in cooperation with the project or the customer
• Processing of test catalogs specified by the business unit
• Independent handling of specific test tools

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in test preparation (test design) and functional test execution
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
• Practical experience in collaboration with business units and IT (3 project references)
• Very good knowledge of test methods and their application in agile and classic software development processes (3 project references)
• Experience in large, cross-application IT projects (1 project reference)
• More than 3 years German C2
• Very good comprehension and understanding of processes and business workflows (1 project reference)
• Experience in the DB environment desirable, ideally at DB Cargo (1 project reference)
