Project overview

For our client in Bern, we are looking for a dedicated personality as a Requirements Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying technical solution finding from conception through solution design to introduction
• Close collaboration with product owners, architects, and development teams
• Analysis, elicitation, and documentation of business requirements
• Translation of business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements as well as implementable system specifications
• Ensuring the quality, completeness, and consistency of requirement specifications
• Moderation and clarification of business and technical issues with various stakeholders
• Creating a common understanding between business and IT
• Accompanying the implementation and execution of end-to-end tests to ensure solution quality
• Definition and coordination of test cases within the scope of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Active participation in testing and quality assurance

• Several years of experience as a Requirements Engineer in the banking environment
• Demonstrable experience in the analysis, specification, and documentation of requirements
• Ability to translate requirements into precise and implementable specifications
• Very good knowledge of system design with a focus on data, functions, interfaces, and processes
• Good knowledge of the software development process, ideally in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum)
• Strong end-to-end mindset as well as experience in testing and quality assurance
• Very good moderation and communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders
• Certification in Requirements Engineering is an advantage (e.g., IREB, BABOK, IIBA or comparable)
• Impeccable reputation without debt enforcement or criminal record entries
• Very good German and English skills
