For our client, we are looking for 1 Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) remote.

A Requirements Engineer is sought for the replacement and modernization of the administration system.

• Gathering, analyzing, and structuring functional requirements in coordination with customers, stakeholders, and development teams
• Creation and maintenance of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria according to agile standards
• Preparation, moderation, and follow-up of customer workshops, requirements interviews, and coordination meetings
• Analysis of existing business processes (as-is processes) as well as conception and description of future to-be processes
• Coordination and prioritization of requirements with the project manager and development team
• Ensuring traceable and consistent requirements documentation
• Several years of experience as a Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst, ideally in software modernization or replacement projects
• Sound knowledge of agile methodologies (especially Scrum and Kanban)
• Experience in User Story Mapping, Story Writing, and formulating testable acceptance criteria
• Confident use of Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of common methods for requirements gathering and process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Very good communication and moderation skills as well as confident demeanor in customer appointments
• Experience with complex administrative applications and established IT system landscapes
• Experience in collaborating with various customer groups and heterogeneous stakeholders
• Basic technical understanding of software architectures, interfaces, and data models
