Framework Conditions

For a complex IT and development project, we are looking for an experienced Requirements Engineer who will take on the structured collection, analysis, and documentation of functional and technical requirements. The freelancer will work closely with business departments, technical experts, and development teams and will accompany the implementation from requirements definition to acceptance.

• Start: January 2027
• Utilization: Full-time
• Remote share: 90%, Onsite approx. 10%, occasional assignments in Bonn, Munich or Berlin
• Duration: 6 months + extension option

Responsibilities

• Collection, analysis, structuring, and documentation of functional and technical requirements
• Planning and conducting workshops with business departments and stakeholders
• Creation and further development of business, requirements, and solution concepts
• Modeling of complex processes, systems, and requirements
• Close collaboration with development, architecture, and project teams
• Accompanying technical implementation and ensuring requirements quality
• Support with test management and functional acceptance

• Several years of practical experience in Requirements Engineering or Requirements Management
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and structured requirement processes
• Experience in modeling and documenting complex IT systems
• Confident interaction with various stakeholders and business departments
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
• Knowledge of UML, BPMN, or SysML is an advantage
• Valid security clearance SÜ2 required
