Roads Advisor (contract)

Project overview

As a roads advisor, you ensure that the municipal road network is managed well financially and substantively.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Translate inspection data into financially substantiated management plans for the road network
• Prepare a financial substantiation based on inspection results and Life Cycle Costing
• Optimize the road data in GeoVisia, including basic data and passport fields
• Set up legends within GeoVisia for daily maintenance
• Establish and guide a strategic inspection plan, including market inquiries
• Act as the first point of contact from the field of roads for other departments
• Steer managerial aspects within integrated projects and complex utility tasks
• Optimize collaboration on cables and pipelines between departments
• Translate technical developments into proposals for quality documents
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in roads management within a governmental organization
• Knowledge of and experience with a planning and control cycle
• Experience with governmental and administrative advice
• Practical experience with the GeoVisia management package
• Experience with assessing inspection data and translating it into measures
• Experience with advising on integrated tasks and complex utility tasks
• Flexible availability from Monday to Friday
• Physical employability and availability
