• Basic commissioning (IBN) of the ABB Machining Tool
• Development and testing of various programming methods and exchange formats:
• NX postprocessor (NX-PP) for ABB robots
• APT format
• Direct programming via the ABB Machining Tool
• Execution of reverse tests for changes to programs and programming methods
• Execution and evaluation of experiments for the following applications:
• Deburring of a defined test contour
• Shot peening along a straight and a curved path
• Component measurement
• Technical documentation of the experiments and results
• Comparison and evaluation of the different programming methods
• Derivation and documentation of a standardized procedure

Know-how:

• Knowledge of ABB RobotStudio
• Experience with the ABB Machining Tool
• Knowledge of robot programming with ABB
• Knowledge of Siemens NX and NX postprocessors (NX-PP)
• Experience with the APT exchange format
• Knowledge of CAM programming and the connection of robot systems
• Experience with robot-assisted machining processes, especially deburring and shot peening, is an advantage
• Experience in conducting technical experiments and tests
• Knowledge of technical documentation and results analysis
