Project overview

For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for support that meets the following requirements:

For a long-term project in the mobility sector, we are looking for an experienced SAP Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on the development and further enhancement of SAP-based solutions for the maintenance of rail vehicles and their components.

The focus is on development with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO, the integration of interfaces, and the further development of the SAP modules MM and PM. The implementation will primarily take place in an agile project environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing SAP systems, applications, and architectures, considering technical and functional requirements
• Development, implementation, and customizing of SAP applications with ABAP and ABAP OO
• Development and integration of SAP interfaces, as well as connection of databases and adjacent systems
• Further development of technical solutions in the area of rail vehicle maintenance with SAP MM and PM
• Conception and implementation of technical components, as well as implementation of prototypes
• Creation of technical designs, system documentation, and delivery packages
• Conception and development of web applications using cloud technologies
• Execution of tests, debugging, error analysis, and error correction
• Participation in agile development teams, as well as participation in code reviews and project coordination

• Several years of experience in SAP system landscapes, particularly in the maintenance of rail vehicles at railway transport companies
• 3+ years of practical development experience with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO
• Profound knowledge of SAP interface technologies and interface connections, especially the AAR interface (3 references required)
• 3+ years of experience with SAP modules MM and PM, as well as adjacent modules
• 3+ years of practical experience in vehicle target documentation
• Very good German and English skills at C1 level
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Several years of experience in documenting technical designs
• Knowledge in mobile SAP development
• Experience in establishing and applying quality assurance processes (2 references)
• Several years of experience in error analysis and error correction of SAP applications
• 3+ years of development experience in agile project environments
• Location: Remote 95%, Frankfurt am Main 5%
