Project overview

Dietrich Spohr is looking for an experienced freelance SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) expert (m/f/d) to support a client in the further development and professionalization of the existing analytics landscape.

SAP Analytics Cloud was introduced about five years ago but has not been consistently developed since then. We are looking for an experienced generalist who can provide technical and functional guidance to the existing internal SAC core team, advise employees, and support the further development of the solution hands-on. The focus is particularly on the connection to SAP S/4HANA, the provision of suitable data sources, and the optimization of dashboards and reports.

A pronounced developer role is not essential – technical know-how, foresight, and the ability to develop suitable solution approaches and support their implementation are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Technical and functional support for the internal SAC core team
• Consulting and support for employees in creating and optimizing dashboards and reports
• Support in connecting SAP S/4HANA to SAP Analytics Cloud
• Analysis and provision of suitable data sources and CDS Views
• Hands-on support in the implementation and further development of analytics solutions
• Training employees and sustainable knowledge transfer to the internal team
• Identification of optimization potential and development of suitable solution approaches
• Coordination with internal contact persons and, if necessary, coordination of further technical specialists

• Knowledge in creating and optimizing dashboards and reports
• Strong technical understanding and a holistic view of data and analytics architectures
• Consulting skills and experience in training and supporting internal employees
• Hands-on mentality and independent working style
• Ability to evaluate technical requirements, identify suitable solution paths, and involve other specialists if necessary

• Duration: Initially 3 months, extension possible
