SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & BPC Consultant – Planning & Reporting

Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Identifying the specific needs of the business units, defining functionalities (dashboards, reports, planning), creating a detailed requirements catalog.
• Technical Implementation: Configuration of SAC, integration of data sources (SAP and non-SAP), development of data models, and creation of interactive dashboards and reports.
• Design and Conception: Technical architecture, authorization concepts, and data models.
• Training and User Handover: Creation of training materials and user manuals, conducting training sessions, setting up a user helpdesk.
• Documentation: Creation of system documentation.
• Operation and Maintenance: Continuous support of the solution.

Requirements

Project details

An existing cockpit for Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based on MS Access is to be replaced by a managed SAP solution (SAP BW/4HANA in combination with SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BPC). The functional scope will be expanded to calculate bills of materials for components and vehicles and transfer them directly into the SAP S/4 system.

The Material Requirements Planning extends across several systems and areas of responsibility within the group. The focus is on creating the MRP multipliers and the bill of materials as preparation of the data basis for the subsequent MRP calculation.

The scope of tasks includes data imports from various source systems (e.g., ISI BW, SAP R/3K, SAP BWK, Flatfiles), consistency checks, syntactic corrections, data integration (e.g., merging MVN plan and MVN actual), and the bill of materials calculation from MBN and weighting, including export to the S/4 system.
