SAP Consultant S/4 Revenue Recognition RAR/IFRS

Project overview

The goal is to analyze the functional and process requirements for revenue recognition as part of an SAP S/4HANA transformation, design a future-proof solution architecture, and ensure the implementation of SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) considering regulatory requirements.

The focus will be on harmonizing business processes, integrating adjacent SAP modules, and preparing and executing test, migration, and go-live activities.

Based on already documented S/4HANA and Revenue Recognition projects.

• Analysis of existing revenue recognition processes in the SAP environment
• Conception of functional requirements for SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
• Definition and design of Revenue Accounting Items (RAI) and Revenue Contracts
• Development of solution approaches for implementing IFRS 15 compliant revenue recognition processes
• Configuration and optimization of RAR-relevant process settings
• Conception of the integration between RAR and SD, FI/CO, and adjacent systems
• Execution of functional tests and validation of revenue recognition logic
• Analysis and resolution of functional error patterns in the context of Revenue Recognition
• Planning and support of migration and cutover activities
• Documentation of developed concepts and results
