SAP Data Migration Consultant

Project overview

A SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project requires support in the holistic planning and execution of data migration. The tasks include the analysis of legacy systems, the creation of mappings, and data transfer using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, and LTMOM. At least five years of experience in comparable migration projects and sound knowledge in the migration of master and transactional data are required.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of data from legacy systems and definition of migration requirements
• Creation of data mapping and transformation documentation
• Execution of data extraction, data cleansing, and data transfer to SAP S/4HANA
• Planning and execution of data migration activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Execution of data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, and other tools
• Execution of mock loads and test migrations
• Data validation and reconciliation of migrated data
• Support in System Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests
• Participation in cutover planning and go-live activities
• Support after go-live in the hypercare phase
• Close collaboration with business departments, technical teams, and project stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP data migration projects
• Sound experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit
• Mandatory knowledge of LTMC and LTMOM
• Experience in the migration of master data and transactional data
• Experience in at least one complete SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project
• Very good understanding of SAP master and transactional data
• Experience in data analysis, data cleansing, transformation, and validation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• German language skills mandatory
• English language skills mandatory
