Project Context

For a client project, we are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Consultant (m/f/d) to support the conception and implementation of a powerful reporting solution in the HR environment.

The focus is on preparing and modeling personnel data with SAP Datasphere and creating needs-based analysis and reporting solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). In close coordination with the relevant contact persons, business requirements are to be translated into viable data structures and meaningful evaluations.

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is particularly helpful for this role. Furthermore, knowledge of existing SAP BW landscapes and their further development towards modern cloud analytics architectures is advantageous.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience working with SAP Datasphere, particularly in developing data models and integrating different data sources
• Good to very good knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and the implementation of reporting and dashboard solutions
• Experience with reporting requirements from Human Resources; knowledge of working with SAP SuccessFactors is particularly welcome
• Confident handling of data integrations, ETL procedures, and the organization and monitoring of data loading processes
• Practical knowledge in designing and implementing role and authorization concepts
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into understandable, technically feasible concepts
• Independent and structured approach, as well as communication tailored to the audience with the business department and IT

Within the scope of this engagement, a robust and needs-based analytics solution for personnel reporting is to be created or further developed. The focus is on a uniform data basis, reliable HR key figures, appropriate access controls, and meaningful evaluation options for the business departments.

Area of Responsibility

• Coordination and elaboration of business requirements for HR reporting in collaboration with the responsible stakeholders
• Translation of HR-relevant questions and key figures into suitable data models and analysis concepts
• Setup, maintenance, and optimization of data models within SAP Datasphere
• Connection, integration, and transformation of personnel data, preferably from SAP SuccessFactors
• Setup and monitoring of data integrations as well as ETL and data loading processes
• Design and implementation of authorization structures, considering the protection of confidential personnel data
• Creation, adaptation, and performance optimization of reports and interactive dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud
• Verification and assurance of data consistency through quality controls and business coordination
• Traceable documentation of data architecture, integration processes, access rights, and reporting definitions
• Analysis of existing SAP BW reports and, if necessary, support in their migration to a modern Datasphere/SAC solution
