1.1 Project/Process Context

Design, maintain, further develop, and integrate SAP solutions for the maintenance of rail vehicles and components, as well as integrated vehicle design documentation. Define and design functional application architectures in this technical domain.

1.2 Project Structure

Project work in the SAP maintenance environment, primarily following sprint logic and waterfall. Project communication in German.

3.1 Scope

4.1 Must-Have Requirements – 100% Mandatory

Proof of M1, M2, M4, and M5 each by experience level in years: Intermediate (> 3 years of experience).

M1: Very good knowledge of the SAP system landscape, especially rail vehicle maintenance at a railway undertaking.

M2: Very good knowledge of development with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO.

M3: Current knowledge in SAP interface technologies and integration, especially regarding the AAR interface; 3 references.

M4: Very good practical experience in SAP MM, PM, and possibly other adjacent modules.

M5: Practical experience in vehicle design documentation.

4.2 Should-Have Requirements

S1 (30%): S/4HANA experience; Junior experience level ( 3 years).

S3 (20%): Mobile SAP development; Junior experience level ( 3 years).

S6 (10%): Work as a developer in an agile project environment; Intermediate experience level (> 3 years).

• Analyze existing systems, applications, and architectures and evaluate them against target architecture specifications; check technical solutions for future viability.
• Program, implement, and customize components, interfaces, modules, and databases; adhere to standardized development environments and programming guidelines.
• Plan and design software projects; create clean, efficient, fully documented code, fix test errors, test and debug applications.
• Conceptualize and develop user-centric cloud web applications and functional interfaces between applications/processes; transfer design concepts into prototypes and advise on implementation.
• Create database structures and database/system interfaces as a basis for documentation and decisions.
• Document technical designs, systems, and development processes, create and hand over delivery packages as well as operational/development manuals.
• Participate in technical meetings and code reviews, provide status updates and constructive feedback; work independently and self-organized.
