Project overview

The services will be provided for the Telecommunications Maintenance Value Team of a leading transport and logistics group as part of Triton Readiness as well as the maintenance and further development of the SAP Operativ (SAP-O) system.

The SAP Operativ system supports essential business processes for technical maintenance and asset management. The focus is on the SAP CS, MM/WM, and PS/SD modules and their integration with numerous customer-specific enhancements.

The main focus of the assignment is on the analysis, further development, and technical implementation of requirements within the existing SAP-O landscape. This includes, in particular, the further development of maintenance processes, equipment management, equipment installation and removal processes, process automation, notification and action processes, as well as the technical modernization of existing in-house developments in the context of technological changes and Triton Readiness.

The service provider will independently and self-organized perform the following services:

• Analysis of functional and technical requirements in the SAP O system
• Analysis of existing SAP in-house developments and derivation of technical solution approaches
• Development and further development of SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP OO
• Analysis of functional requirements in the SAP CS environment
• Further development of maintenance processes and objects
• Implementation of requirements related to equipment installation, equipment removal, and equipment modification
• Further development of notification, action, and service processes
• Implementation of technical adjustments as part of Triton Readiness
• Performing error analyses and bug fixes
• Creation of technical documentation

• Very good and practically proven knowledge in SAP development (ABAP/ABAP OO)
• Experience level in years: Senior (> 5 years of experience)
• Very good and practically proven knowledge in the analysis, maintenance, and further development of existing SAP in-house developments
• Very good knowledge in the SAP CS environment and in technical maintenance processes
• Project experience in the development and further development of maintenance processes and objects (e.g., equipment, technical locations, notifications, actions, service orders, as well as installation and removal processes)
• Number of references: 2
• Experience in integrated SAP system landscapes involving modules CS, MM, WM, PS, or SD
