SAP Digital Manufacturing Consultant (m/f/d) for an S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation

Responsibilities

• Preparation, execution, and documentation of scoping and analysis workshops with business departments from production, quality, and logistics
• Recording of current shop floor processes and development of target processes based on SAP standard (Fit-to-Standard)
• Conception of the MES architecture with SAP Digital Manufacturing and demarcation from S/4HANA PP/QM/EWM
• Design of the integration between S/4HANA and SAP DM (production orders, confirmations, material and quality data)
• Conception of machine and shop floor connectivity (e.g., SAP Plant Connectivity, OPC UA, IoT scenarios)
• Customizing and configuration of SAP DM: resources, routings, work centers, POD design, and Production Process Designer
• Creation of functional specifications, support for testing (SIT, UAT), key user training, and cutover and go-live support
• Advising the client on best practices, roadmap, and licensing issues related to SAP DM
• Demonstrable project experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (formerly SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud / DMC), ideally at least one implementation project
• Profound MES knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete and/or process industry)
• Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP and/or QM and the ERP/MES integration
• Experience in moderating workshops and communicating with business departments and the shop floor
• Experience in greenfield or larger transformation projects
• Experience with predecessor solutions SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and/or SAP MII
• SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo), OPC UA, SAP Integration Suite / BTP
• SAP certification for Digital Manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP Activate / Fit-to-Standard
