Seeking an SAP EWM expert to implement a global SAP EWM solution for an international client, replacing an outdated warehouse management system. The role involves end-to-end implementation, integration, and support for a highly automated, 24/7 operating warehouse.
Project overview
Initial Situation
For an international client, we are looking for support starting July 2027 for the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM). The existing Warehouse Management System has reached the end of its technical lifecycle and will be replaced. The goal is a globally reusable SAP EWM solution as a template for future international rollouts. The site is highly automated, operates 24/7 (brownfield environment), and has a high degree of integration with SAP ERP, SAP TM, SAP MFS, MES, and Yard Management. The following support is sought: Project Manager, Developer, Lead Consultant
Responsibilities
- End-to-end implementation of the SAP EWM solution
- Solution design and architecture
- Implementation and customizing of SAP EWM
- Implementation of SAP MFS and integration of automation technology
- Integration with SAP ERP, SAP TM, MES, and other third-party systems
- Development of necessary enhancements and interfaces
- Test management, integration testing, and UAT support (partially at night and on weekends)
- Data migration and cutover support
- Go-Live, Hypercare, and stabilization
- Training of key users and business departments
- Ensuring compatibility with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Consulting on future global rollouts
