Experienced SAP expert needed for a consulting project focused on analyzing and defining target business processes, particularly in R&D and manufacturing. The role involves documenting current SAP R/3 processes, identifying gaps, and developing recommendations for optimization.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP expert (m/f/d) for a consulting project in the area of process analysis and target process definition. The position is to be filled from December.
In this role, you will analyze and document existing business processes in the areas of research & development and manufacturing. You will record SAP R/3-supported end-to-end processes, identify involved roles and organizational interfaces, and evaluate the current process landscape in terms of efficiency and transparency.
Your tasks include identifying process gaps, duplicate work, and unclear responsibilities, as well as moderating interviews and workshops with specialist departments and stakeholders. You will develop recommendations for process optimization and define future target processes, taking into account the existing system landscape. Finally, you will create comprehensible process documentation and support the communication of the agreed-upon target states.
We expect several years of experience in the SAP environment, ideally in complex manufacturing companies, as well as very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and associated business processes. Demonstrable experience in process analysis, modeling, and optimization is required. You should be confident in workshops and interviews with specialist departments and management and possess a structured, analytical approach.
Experience in research & development, regulated industries, SAP transformation projects, or SAP S/4HANA transformations, as well as knowledge in creating process maps and governance structures, would be advantageous.
