SAP FI Architect for euBP Data Integration from SAP ECC

Project overview

Initial Situation:

The client operates two older SAP ECC systems (EHP6), an SAP S/4 system, and an H4S4-HR system. For the electronically supported operational audit (euBP) of social security, financial data, especially summary and balance lists, must be transmitted in addition to HR data. The existing HR reporting already runs via the B2A Manager. However, a suitable standard solution for electronic transmission is missing for the older ECC systems. An SAP FI Solution Architect is sought to evaluate possible integration approaches and develop a technically feasible target architecture.

Responsibilities

Framework Data:

• Analysis of the existing ECC system landscape
• Evaluation of possible solution options, e.g.: direct integration (ECC ? target system)
• Use of SAP BTP / Middleware
• Connection to HR systems
• Consulting on best practices for statutory data transmission
• Derivation of an implementable target architecture
• Examination of which euBP / B2A functions SAP offers for FI in each system (ECC, S/4) as standard
• Feasibility assessment of the client's request: Enrichment of the HR euBP report (B2A Manager in H4S4) with FI data vs. separate reporting from FI
• Clarification of which prerequisites are missing in the outdated ECC systems
• Coordination with HR IT, as the euBP payroll accounting already runs from H4S4
• Start date: 02.01.2027, a pre-sales meeting beforehand

Requirements

• In-depth experience with SAP ECC (ideally EHP6 environment)
• Experience in SAP Integration / Interfaces (e.g., RFC, APIs, Middleware)
• Experience with data transmission in the SAP context (ideally HR / Finance / Compliance-related topics)
• Knowledge of euBP / Audit Processes (Social Security) in the Financial Accounting area, ideally B2A Manager
• FI (Financial Accounting) with sound consulting experience
• Coordination between FI business department and HR IT
