SAP FI Consultant – IFRS 18 & Foreign Currency Valuation

Project overview

For a current customer project, we are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant specializing in IFRS 18 and foreign currency valuations. The position can be filled completely remotely.

Responsibilities

You will support the functional-technical implementation of detailed posting of foreign currency valuations in SAP. You will consider both Classic Foreign Currency Valuation and Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation. You will analyze and evaluate functional requirements in the IFRS 18 context, advise on mapping in SAP FI, and design corresponding solutions. Furthermore, you will configure relevant SAP FI functions and posting logic, coordinate with business departments, and support the validation of implemented solutions.

Requirements

You have sound experience in consulting and implementing SAP FI. Very good knowledge in the area of foreign currency valuation and practical experience with Classic and/or Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation are required. You have experience in configuring SAP FI posting processes and valuation logic, as well as a good understanding of financial accounting and reporting. You can independently translate functional requirements into SAP solutions and have very good English skills for project communication.

Knowledge and project experience with IFRS 18, experience with IFRS-related adjustments in SAP FI, and experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance are particularly desirable.
