SAP HCM Administrator / Support Employee with focus on Payroll (PY)

Project overview

For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for an SAP HCM Administrator / Support Employee with a focus on Payroll (PY) (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Operational support and administration of SAP HCM Payroll (PY)
• Processing of inquiries, tickets, and support cases in the area of SAP Payroll
• Checking and processing of errors and discrepancies in payroll
• Analysis of payroll results and support in clarifying deviations
• Maintenance and checking of wage types, payroll schemas, and personnel calculation rules
• Support with adjustments in the context of legal, collective agreement, and functional changes
• Execution and documentation of payroll tests, integration tests, and parallel runs
• Support in the maintenance and checking of interfaces between SAP HCM and adjacent systems
• Support with year-end closing, release changes, migrations, and go-lives
• Execution of error analyses and support with technical analysis, especially in the HCM-PY environment
• Maintenance of documentation and follow-up and processing of open support cases
• Coordination with business departments and other contact persons for clarification of payroll and system problems
• Good knowledge in SAP HCM Payroll (PY), ideally in the public administration environment
• Experience in the operational support and administration of SAP HCM Payroll
• Knowledge of wage types, payroll schemas, and personnel calculation rules
• Experience in error analysis and processing of support cases
• Basic knowledge of ABAP or ABAP debugging in the HCM-PY environment
• Experience with payroll tests, integration tests, and parallel runs
• Knowledge in supporting interfaces in the SAP HCM environment is an advantage
• Structured and careful working method as well as strong service and support orientation
