For my client in the energy industry, I am currently looking for an SAP IS-U Biller / Tariffication Expert (m/f/d)

with in-depth experience in energy billing and tariffication

as well as expertise in migrating SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Several years of experience in the SAP IS-U environment with a focus on billing and tariffication
• In-depth knowledge of energy industry billing processes at energy supply companies
• Practical experience with SAP R/3 Utilities and understanding of the relevant differences and requirements in the target system SAP S/4HANA Utilities
• Experience in SAP transformation, migration, or implementation projects, ideally in the conversion from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA
• Confident handling of tariff models, billing schemes, tariff determination, and billing-relevant master data
• Ability to analyze existing billing logics and derive functional requirements for the future system architecture
• Experience in preparing, executing, and evaluating functional tests, as well as in error analysis and quality assurance
• Understanding of the interrelationships between billing, master data, and adjacent energy industry processes
• Analytical and structured way of working, as well as the ability to independently handle complex functional issues
• Strong communication skills and experience in collaborating with business departments and technical project teams

Your Responsibilities

• Functional support of the transformation from the existing SAP R/3 landscape to SAP S/4HANA Utilities with a focus on billing and tariffication
• Analysis and evaluation of existing billing and tariff structures, and development of requirements for the future system landscape
• Support in the transfer and adaptation of billing processes, tariff models, and billing-relevant master data
• Examination of the functional impact of the system change on existing billing logics and energy industry business processes
• Participation in the conception and validation of future billing and tariffication solutions in SAP S/4HANA Utilities
• Execution and functional evaluation of migration tests, billing tests, and end-to-end tests
• Analysis and clarification of functional error patterns, and support in optimizing billing processes
• Coordination with business departments, IT teams, and other project stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of requirements
• Support in preparing for go-live and stabilizing billing processes during the go-live phase
