SAP IS-Utilities Tester

Project overview

For an SAP S/4HANA implementation project in the Utilities sector, we are looking for an experienced tester with in-depth knowledge of SAP IS-U Testing. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating test activities and supporting the business departments throughout the entire test phase, especially within the scope of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, and management of test activities in the SAP S/4HANA implementation project
• Creation and design of manual test cases as well as execution and documentation of tests
• Coordination of the test process across different workstreams
• Defect management as well as tracking and coordination of errors
• Support of business departments and functional teams during the UAT phase
• Identification and evaluation of QA requirements, risks, dependencies, and constraints
• Coordination with the client as well as the involved business and IT teams

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SAP IS-U Testing in the Utilities environment
• Practical experience with SAP IS-U, SAP FI/CO, and SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and test projects
• Knowledge of test planning, manual test case design, test execution, and defect management
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Test Lifecycle
• Experience in coordinating with business and functional teams across multiple workstreams
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Independent and structured way of working
