Job description
Seeking an SAP LO-VC Consultant/Developer with experience in variant configuration modeling, ABAP development, and error analysis for a project starting November 2, 2026.
Project overview
Variant Configuration: Development, modeling, and maintenance of SAP LO-VC models, including characteristics, classes, value assignments, and configuration rules.
ABAP Development: Implementation of customer-specific enhancements, functions, and interfaces using object-oriented programming (OOP).
Error Analysis: Analysis and resolution of configuration, pricing, and integration errors, as well as root cause analysis.
Performance Optimization: Optimization of VC models and configuration processes in terms of performance and efficiency.
Testing: Execution of unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure quality and functionality.
Requirements
Sound experience with SAP LO-VC (Variant Configuration) and modeling of variant configurations.
Very good knowledge in the creation and maintenance of characteristics, classes, dependencies, and configuration rules.
Good knowledge in SAP ABAP, at least in reading and understanding.
Experience in error analysis and resolution as well as performance optimization of VC models.
Knowledge in integration with other SAP modules and interfaces.
Experience with unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation.
