Project overview

You will be involved in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Procurement, from business needs analysis to acceptance testing. You will work closely with business teams, technical teams, and the PP/QM streams.

You have 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP implementation within the MM/Purchasing scope, ideally on SAP S/4HANA.

You have a strong command of purchasing and invoice verification processes, and you can communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Our client, an international industrial group, is deploying SAP S/4HANA (on-premise) at one of its production sites based in Lyon.

They are looking for an SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement functional consultant to strengthen the Purchasing stream of the project, alongside the Sourcing & Procurement Functional Lead.

• Support the Sourcing & Procurement Functional Lead on S/4HANA implementation activities
• Analyze business needs and translate them into SAP S/4HANA solutions compliant with SAP best practices
• Configure Purchasing processes: purchase requisitions, orders, source lists, purchasing info records, contracts, and scheduling agreements
• Configure industry-specific Purchasing processes: subcontracting, consignment, stock transfer orders, third-party orders
• Configure release strategies, pricing procedures, and invoice verification (2-way/3-way matching)
• Ensure integration with inventory management and coordinate interface points with PP, QM, and PLM teams
• Write functional specifications and work with technical teams on developments and interfaces
• Lead system and UAT test cycles for the Purchasing stream: test scenarios and scripts, coordination of business users, anomaly tracking until validation

• Mastery of SAP S/4HANA Procurement configuration (on-premise)
• Solid expertise in Purchasing and invoice verification: release strategies, pricing procedures, 2-way/3-way matching
• Configuration of industry-specific processes: subcontracting, consignment, stock transfers, third-party orders
• Understanding of integrations with inventory management, PP, QM, and PLM
• Practical experience with Fiori S/4HANA Procurement applications
• Experience in leading system and UAT tests
• Writing functional specifications
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• SAP Ariba experience (Sourcing, Guided Buying, or Network) integrated with S/4HANA
