SAP O2C Functional Consultant – FI-AR, SD & SAP Analytics Cloud | Remote / Berlin

Project overview

For an international company in the media and entertainment industry, DIE TECHNOLOGEN IT & ENGINEERING GmbH is looking for a freelance SAP O2C Functional Consultant.

The focus is on implementing an existing blueprint for accounts receivable and adjacent Order-to-Cash processes, as well as integrating billing, incoming payments, and reporting. You will independently support the project from functional conception through implementation to testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and further development of SAP FI-AR processes with a focus on accounts receivable, incoming payments, clearing of open items, and account reconciliation.
• Analysis and optimization of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, including the integration of SAP SD billing and financial accounting, considering the SAP standard.
• Conception, development, and validation of reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud, including functional requirements, KPIs, and reporting logic.
• Functional conception and support of the implementation of interfaces between SAP and upstream systems, including process integration and testing.
• Identification and resolution of functional problems, documentation and validation of processes, coordination with business departments and IT, and support of change activities.

Requirements

Project Framework

Contract Type: Freelance project assignment.

• Profound functional knowledge in SAP FI-AR as well as in SAP SD with a focus on billing and integration into financial accounting.
• Demonstrable project experience in functional process design, blueprint implementation, and optimization of accounts receivable and payment processes.
• Practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, particularly in developing reports and dashboards and validating reporting requirements.
• Good understanding of SAP interfaces and end-to-end O2C processes, as well as an independent, structured way of working and confident communication with business and IT stakeholders.
• Fluent English skills, written and spoken; German skills are welcome but not required.

Project details

01.12.2026, earlier by arrangement.

Initially 12 months with an option to extend.

Primarily remote with regular on-site appointments in Berlin; occasional further travel is possible and will be coordinated.

Utilization and Fee: By arrangement.
