SAP O2C Functional Consultant

Project overview

For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for freelance support for the following requirements:

Responsibilities

• Implementation and further development of SAP Order-to-Cash processes (O2C) with a focus on SAP FI-AR and SAP SD
• Functional design and implementation of customer accounting, incoming payments, clearing, and reconciliation processes
• Integration of billing processes (SAP SD) into financial accounting (SAP FI)
• Analysis, optimization, and implementation of existing business processes based on SAP standards and defined blueprints
• Design, development, and validation of reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Definition of functional reporting requirements, KPIs, and evaluation logic
• Functional support for the integration of SAP interfaces with upstream systems
• Execution of tests, error analyses, process validations, and documentation
• Coordination with business departments, IT teams, and other stakeholders, as well as support in change management

Requirements

• Sound practical experience with SAP FI-AR, especially customer accounting, incoming payments, clearing, and reconciliation
• Very good knowledge of SAP SD, especially billing and integration with SAP FI
• Comprehensive experience with end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes (O2C)
• Demonstrable experience in functional process design, blueprint implementation, and optimization of SAP financial processes
• Practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), especially report and dashboard development
• Good knowledge of integrating SAP interfaces and adjacent systems
• Experience in analyzing functional requirements, creating functional solution concepts, and supporting implementations
• Independent, structured way of working, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English skills, German skills are an advantage
• Location: Remote, with occasional visits to Berlin
• Duration: 16.11.2026
• 12 months with option to extend
• Utilization: Full-time
