SAP Planning Consultant RE/CA – SAP Analytics Cloud & SAP Datasphere

Project overview

For a customer project, we are looking for an experienced SAP Planning Consultant with a focus on RE/CA and profound expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere (DSP). The focus is on the conception and end-to-end implementation of integrated planning applications and their connection to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Quality assurance and completion of existing specialist concepts together with the business departments, as well as preparation and execution of workshops.

Creation of detailed technical concepts for planning applications across SAC, SAP Datasphere, and SAP S/4HANA.

End-to-end implementation of planning solutions, taking into account customer-specific development guidelines.

Conception and implementation of data integration and the return of planning data to SAP Datasphere and SAP S/4HANA, including Seamless Planning.

Development and maintenance of Data Actions and Multi Actions to map planning logic in SAC.

Analysis of data and migration requirements, as well as coordination of data models and mappings with business departments and module managers.

Documentation of developed objects, data flows, and business logic.

Conception and implementation of roles and authorizations, including Scoped Roles and Data Access Controls (DAC).

Creation of test cases, execution of unit and migration tests, as well as support for User Acceptance Tests (UAT).

Support during go-live and the hypercare phase, as well as knowledge transfer to internal and external colleagues.

Ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions.

Requirements

Several years of experience in the conception and implementation of SAP planning solutions with SAC and SAP Datasphere.

Functional understanding of planning processes in the RE/CA environment.

Profound knowledge in data modeling and the setup of ETL processes in SAP BW and SAP Datasphere, as well as data integration in SAC.

Practical experience with SAC Planning, especially with Data Actions and Multi Actions.

Experience with Seamless Planning between SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.

Knowledge of the data models and integration possibilities of SAP S/4HANA, ideally in FI, CO, MM, or SD.

Ability to analyze and technically implement complex data structures, mappings, and cross-system relationships.

Experience with migration tests, mock runs, and ensuring data quality.

Structured, independent way of working, as well as confident communication with business departments and technical contacts.
