SAP PPM Expert (m/f/d) – S/4HANA Transformation | Vienna / Remote

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced SAP PPM Expert (m/f/d) to support an ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.

The focus is on conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops, designing optimized PPM processes, and subsequently implementing SAP PPM in close cooperation with SAP FI/CO and PS experts.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops
• Analysis of existing SAP PPM processes and development of an optimized target process
• Functional responsibility for the implementation of SAP PPM
• Design and evaluation of the integration of SAP PPM with PS, PM, MM, and CO
• Design of resource planning and capacity balancing in SAP PPM
• Evaluation of the possible use of SAP IM and SAP CPM
• Close coordination with existing SAP FI/CO and PS experts
• Support of the brownfield transformation to SAP S/4HANA

• Several years of project experience with SAP PPM, ideally in the S/4HANA environment
• Sound experience in conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops
• Very good knowledge of SAP PPM customizing and implementation
• Good knowledge of the integration between SAP PPM and SAP PS
• Understanding of SAP PS regarding project structures, network plans, account assignment, and billing
• Experience with resource management and capacity planning in SAP PPM
• Knowledge in SAP IM and/or SAP CPM is an advantage
• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
• Independent, structured way of working and strong communication skills
• Start: Immediately / November 2026
• Workshop Phase: Until the end of December 2026, approx. 60% utilization
• Explore Phase: Until summer 2027, approx. 40-60% utilization
• Implementation: Planned until 2028, utilization according to project planning
• Location: Vienna / Remote
• On-site: During the workshop phase, probably approx. 50% in Vienna, afterwards predominantly remote (approx. 80%)
• Project Language: German, English is an advantage
